Professional Experience

Daniel’s legal experience gives him a practical, well-rounded perspective on the issues that affect Colorado families, business owners, fiduciaries, and individuals facing important legal decisions.

Much of his early legal career focused on litigation. He represented clients in Colorado county courts, district courts, bankruptcy court, and federal court. That courtroom experience shaped the way he approaches legal planning today. He understands how disputes arise, how courts review legal documents, and how careful planning can reduce confusion, conflict, and unnecessary expense.

At Chapman Law, Daniel helps clients with estate planning, probate, civil litigation, and related family legal matters. He explains available options, identifies practical risks, and helps clients move forward with a plan that fits their circumstances.

His practice also draws on substantial negotiation experience. Whether Daniel is helping a family create an estate plan, guiding a client through probate, advising a trustee, or working to resolve a dispute, he focuses on clear communication, practical strategy, and durable solutions.

Daniel earned his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, he served as a staff editor for the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. He also gained early legal experience through work in the courts and in private practice.
